Newfoundland Puppiesnewfoundland puppies

The Newfoundland dog is a large working dog. They can be either black, brown, or white-and-black. However, in Canada, the country of their origin, the only correct colours are either black or Landseer. They were originally bred and used as a working dog for fishermen in the Dominion of Newfoundland. They are known for their giant size, intelligence, tremendous strength, calm dispositions, and loyalty. Newfoundland dogs excel at water rescue/lifesaving because of their muscular build, thick double coat, webbed feet, and innate swimming abilities.

Looking for Newfoundland Puppies?

You want an Newfoundland puppy. There are over 2,000,000 puppies born in the United States every year and 90% are bred and born in puppy mills.  Many Newfoundland puppies are born in these puppy mills. They are bred by breeders who only care about the money.  These breeders will tell you the mother and father are healthy when they are not. The breeder will tell you the mother and father are "AKC" registered and healthy but AKC does NOT require the dogs to be tested before breeding.  These breeders will tell they use ethical breeding practices when they do not. You need to do all you can to insure the Newfoundland puppy you purchase for yourself or your family has the greatest chance of being bred in a healthy environment. Dogs don't live as long as we humans and if you are spending hundreds, if not thousands of dollars on an Newfoundland puppy, SPEND IT WISELY!
